'Baby Jake' scoops a prize at the UK Broadcast Awards
Irish production company JAM Media are celebrating today after their co-produced animation Baby Jake picked up the gong for Best Preschool Programme at the UK Broadcast Awards.
The show airs on CBeebies and tells the story of Baby Jake, a errrr, baby who travels to incredible lands with his magical friends and meets some amazing creatures. It wasn't exactly in an easy category, what with fan favourites like Peppa Pig, Wolly and Tig, Mike the Knight, Mr Bloom's Nursery and Ratmouse on the shortlist.
JAM Media CEO John Riche said "being nominated with such well regarded shows alone is an honour but to win this award is truly fantastic.. We had a phenomenal year last year with a series of prestigious wins, so we hope to continue this throughout 2013. “
