Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb team up for 'Love and Marriage'
They're probably going to DESTROY the original when they go for a remake across the water but in happier news Gavin and Stacey stars Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman are teaming up again for a brand new comedy.
The show's called Love and Marriage and tells the tale of the Paradise family. All's well in the household until mum Pauline (Steadman) retires as a lollipop lady and decides to walk out on the family and husband Ken (Duncan Preston). See, Larry Lamb won't actually be playing her other half this time around. He's happy out in the supporting cast which will also includes Celia Imrie, former Corrie star Graeme Hawley and Ashley Jenson of Extras fame.
The show is a "warm-hearted drama" focussing on the "highs and lows of family life" and will be written by Miss Marple scribe Stewart Harcourt. Watch this space.
