You wait months for Peaky Blinders stories and then two come along at once.
Earlier this week the first photos from the set of season four were published online which showcased Cillian Murphy's Tommy Shelby in action. Now comes the announcement that Oscar winner Adrien Brody has joined the cast.
A photo on the official Peaky Blinders Instagram account showed Brody prepping for a scene with Tom Hardy who is returning as Alfie Solomons.
Commenting on the Brody's addition to the cast, the show's creator Steven Knight said: “He genuinely was the actor in my head when I wrote the part. I’m sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of the Peaky Blinders.”
Brody joins the cast for the fourth season which includes returning members, Cillian Murphy, Joe Cole, Paul Anderson and Helen McCory.
