The Late Late Show is certainly going to a bit 'out there' this week as it plans on doing a "Late Late Show – Reach for the Stars" as the show hosts a charity sing off with some well-known faces. Yeah I know, cringe your pants off, but come on, think of the craic we had in their last talent show expedition Eurosong, this could be GOLD. Although, there's no sign of Linda Martin at this shindig. Yet.

In fairness though, this is all for a really good cause as these famous faces transforms themselves into four iconic pop stars. Popular newsreader Eileen Whelan will be turning into sixties pop sensation Rumour and will be belting out a tune in aid of the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.

Best-selling author Cathy Kelly has also risen to the challenge, and while we haven't been told what iconic star she will become, apparently she has been busting her ass all week practicing her dance moves to raise money for her chosen charity UNICEF.

Next up, you'll see athlete and Senator Eamonn Coghlan as you’ve never seen him before (although, some of you may not have actually seen him before). This fella will be singing his heart out for his charity Console.

Finally, TV presenter Emma O’Driscoll has chosen a charity very close to her heart; "Baby Max, Wings of Love", as she emulates one of her favourite singers of all time. Although, Emma was in that TV series Popstars and went on to be a member of Six, so eh, unfair advantage there I reckon!

Also, don't worry Billy-from-Aslan, Louis Walsh is NOT on the judging panel. The viewers at home will get to vote for their favourite performance and proceeds from the vote will go to the relevant charities.

Oh and last but not least, the most famous car in the world KITT from Knight Rider will be in studio, we don't know why, but who CARES why!
