Get your ice-skates out of your parents' attic, because the Mighty Ducks are skating back into your life whether you like it or not.

It's been reported by THR that ABC Signature Studios are working on a television reboot of '90s childhood classic The Mighty Ducks. As of now, neither Emilio Estevez or Joshua Jackson - who played Coach Gordon Bombay and Charlie Conway in the original - have been confirmed to return, but you'd imagine they'd have to turn up somewhere, right?

THR's report stresses that it's still in the early stages and no release date has been confirmed and no television studio or streaming service is attached as of yet, and there's no indication as of yet if it's a reboot or a sequel - which would impact on whether Emilio Estevez, Joshua Jackson and the rest of the original cast would feature.

What about that Icelandic coach who was in the ads for Statoil, too?
