A new EU regulation means that Netflix users can watch content on the streaming service no matter where they are in Europe and won't be restricted by those pesky geo restrictions.

The same also applies to Amazon Prime and other streaming services although the likes of BBC Player do not have to abide by the new rule.

The "Regulation on the Portability of Online Content Services" was initially passed last June but there has been a nine-month grace period enforced that is now about to expire.

Unfortunately, this doesn't mean we will be getting extra content from all around the EU, just parity of experience.

Still though, at least you won't ever be stuck for something to watch on your European hollybobs.
