The full interview with the cast of ‘House of Cards’ conducted by Savannah Guthrie on NBC's 'Today' has been released. Robin Wright, Michael Kelly and Constance Zimmer all feature in the video, which is mostly focussed on how the allegations against the series’ original lead, Kevin Spacey, have impacted the show's final season.

In a preview of the interview released yesterday, Robin Wright said that she didn’t really know Spacey: "Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut, and in between setups where we would giggle.

"I didn’t really – I didn’t know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is."

In the full interview, she adds: "We were co-workers, really. We never socialised outside of work – [it was a] respectful, professional relationship. He was so great with me, never disrespectful to me. So that’s my personal experience. That’s the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about."

Asked about her reactions upon hearing the allegations, she answered: "I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened. We forged ahead and were so thankful we were able to complete the series as planned."

Wright also revealed that her and Spacey had not been in contact since and said she "[doesn’t] even know how to reach him." As for Netflix cutting ties with Spacey, the actress said she felt it was the right decision at the time as it was "respectful to back off."

Kelly also spoke of the shock of Spacey’s absence: "The first table read was always Robin, Kevin and me at the head of the table, and the first time we sat down [this season] it was me and Robin. Both of us just looked at each other and were like ‘Wow, we’re really doing this.’"

Zimmer added: "But I also think people don’t realise that we knew this was the final season before all of this happened."
