Emmerdale
: Cam and Chas got rumbled this week, and it didn't involve the mighty crutch of Cain. A different Dingle walked in on them during a leg over session on her couch, and it happened to be Chas's sister Gennie. That helped her pregnancy stress no end. Moira had more loss to deal with this week, what with both Squeakbox A (Holly) and B (Hannah) deciding to leave the farm for pastures new (Landan, innit). Elsewhere, Laurel demanded a divorce off Ashley, while all of Alicia's birthday's came at once when she got a proposal off her sister's ex fiancé. She does love David, so shame it's only a pretendy proposal. He did it so she can keep Jacob, which Pollard wasn't too happy about. On the bitter sweet side, David will invariably end up falling in love with Alicia for realz 'cause that's just how soaps roll.

EastEnders: Michael, Janine and the bump were due to get married this week - but there was a lot of calamity. Firstly, the bride-to-be was advised to avoid all stress by her doctor. When she ignored the advice, Michael abruptly halted the nuptials during Thursday's hour-long affair. One thing should have brought a smile to Janine's mush, and that was the impromptu arrival of siblings Diane and Rickaay... Meanwhile, Derek forced Anthony to bring Alice on a date, which was the least of his worries given his surly son Joey landed on his doorstep; Alfie copped that Kat knew about his "arrangement" with Roxy (I thought she was broke?); Max landed a humdinger on Tanya (I'd tell you what it is, but I've not watched it yet); and Abi was forced to choose between her new teen fiancé or a jaunt to Costa Rica. She chose the latter.

Coronation Street: The wibbling mass of womanly flesh that is Eva earwigged a conversation between Karl and Sunita, so have they been found out? Well, she knows about their "dirty secret" now, that being their trips to the casino. No matter anyway, because Sunita proposes marriage to Dev for some reason. There is a silver lining, and that is hopefully we won't be subjected to any more close ups of Karl grappling awkwardly with Sunita's arse. Steve decided to sell the house from under Tracy and Beth, while Carla suggested that herself and Peter try for a baby, 'cause that's all young Simon needs. Yeah, I know he's not living with them anymore, but they're just over't roooad.

Fair City: Yvonne, suspecting Bela has ulterior motives, resolved to make her dad consider alternatives to selling the house. Cass - given he's just returned home - got caught in the crossfire. With Louie away, the newly engaged Carol assumed control, but she hasn't reckoned with a fiery Sash. Needless to say Bob got craic out of them knocking their breast plates together. Damien made Laura's first date with Emily slightly more uncomfortable than necessary when he vented at her for not marking their mother's anniversary. As ever, Wayne found himself sandwiched in the middle.
