First there was People Like Us, and now there's Skint. This brand new Channel 4 documentary takes us to Scunthorpe in north Lincolnshire, were we meet the unemployed residents of a local estate. This lot have a lot on their plate, with crime, welfare dependency, truancy and addiction among the social issues they have to face. From 37-year-old former steelworks employee Dean, to a shoplifter who makes a few quid on his stolen goods, there are plenty of characters to keep us glued to the TV screen for one night at least.
