Mrs Brown's Boys. RTE1: 9.40pm
There's no escaping her this Christmas, what with the two festive specials on both RTE at BBC1 (10.15pm, if you fancy it in HD). In this first of the two specials, spiritual son Trevor is visiting from the missions, grandson Bono is sleeping over on Christmas Eve, and there are three new faces to feed on Christmas Day now that Agnes’s youngest son Dermot is the father of tri-plets. But first things first - Agnes must finish the simple task of decorating the tree. When visiting priest Father Damien announces that the Finglas Nativity play has been cancelled, Agnes vows to stage a Nativity play of her own in the local community centre. Hilarity of a certain kind ensues. You can see part II tomorrow.
