Anyone else perplexed as to why Jacinta (flirty mother earth) and Terry (I like taking serious notes, me) are still there, while Andy got the boot? His main at the pop up restaurant last week may not have won any beauty awards but a lot of the punters said it was the best dish out of the four. I doesn't make sense. Then again, Andy never really got a lot of airtime… Tonight, the seven remaining contestants face a demanding taste test carried out by scientist and molecular gastronomist Juan Valverde and Dublin chef Karl Whelan. Back in the kitchen, they receive a masterclass in making ice-cream and sorbet from expert Kieran Murphy, before Dylan and Nick wrap their gums around their efforts.
