London Olympics - Lightweight Boxing Final. RTE2: 4.15pm
Darragh Maloney introduces coverage of this afternoon's events from around London, including the finals in all three weight divisions of the women's boxing competition. Going into this summer's Games, Ireland's Katie Taylor was seen as the hot favourite to triumph in the lightweight division having won gold at each of the last four world amateur championships, including the most recent tournament in May this year, as well as in five European amateur championships. Taylor's appearance in the finale of the women's lightweight boxing kicks off at 4.45pm.
