Heston's Fantastical Christmas. Channel 4: 9.00pm
Heston Blumenthal - you can crawl into your oversized plum pudding and stay there. In this 'Christmas Special', he creates a festive feast for a group of people who normally have to work on Christmas Day. He visits Hampton Court and learns that pig's head used to be served instead of turkey hundreds of years ago, so he naturally puts this on the menu - alongside edible decorations including baubles, tinsel and even fairy lights. Finally, he devises a hidden grotto serving gold coins and meat mince pies. 'Cause he's just so crazy like that. In more 'Channel 4 presenters get shoehorned into stuff', there's Kirstie's Vintage Christmas on at 8.00pm.
