Euro 2012 - Germany v Italy. RTE2: 7.00pm
Kick-off 7.45pm. Coverage of the second semi-final at the National Stadium in Warsaw, where the winners of the second and fourth quarter-finals meet for a place in the final. The Germans were victorious at this stage four years ago when beating Turkey 3-2 in a pulsating contest, and will be keen to avenge the 2-0 loss they suffered at the hands of Italy in the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup. Italy progressed to this match by beating England on penalties in the quarter-finals, and come into this contest having recorded just one victory in open play at the tournament, that being against us.
