When we saw John Goodman in the trailer we were pretty much SOLD. This new Drama series whisks us back to early-1930s London. Louis Lester fronts a jazz band who are trying to make it on the music scene. They're spotted and signed by music journalist Stanley Mitchell (played by Matthew Goode) who drops 'em on stage at the Imperial Hotel. The elderly audience are none too impressed but a group of socialites take a shine to the band and they're booked to play a private party, where a Prince and a wealthy businessman (Goodman) make life a little more interesting...
