Everyone's favourite Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is visiting Ireland next week as part of a state visit.

The news was announced today in Dáil session by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, who confirmed that Prime Minister Trudeau will be visiting Ireland next Tuesday with his family. Former Taoiseach Enda Kenny had been hosted by Trudeau in Montreal last May, and this is sort of like geopolitics wedding invites - you go to theirs, you invite them to yours.

There's no word yet on what exactly Trudeau will be doing while in Ireland, but we'd imagine there'll be some sort of state dinner and probably a trip to the Guinness Storehouse or something.
