While visiting an art exhibition at The 14th Factory in Los Angeles, a lady decided to take her phone out for a selfie, because was she even really there if there's not a selfie to prove it?

However, as you can see from the video below, things go terribly, terribly wrong...

Gloria Yu, one of the artists featured in the exhibition, told Hyperallergic: "Three sculptures were permanently damaged and others to varying degrees," and "the approximate cost of damage is $200,000."

However, we should also say the LA Times ran a preview for this show back in May which said: "Oh, the selfies you’ll make at L.A.’s 14th Factory, where the art is so social. Our Instagram tour."

So they really only have themselves to blame.
