MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell found internet fame after a leaked off-air meltdown made its way online and being a fellow broadcaster, Stephen Colbert can understand his outburst.
Not that he's condoning it. Oh no, Colbert merely knows that he and O'Donnell are in similar boats on the same choppy sea and, having learned a lesson from O'Donnell, Colbert got ahead of any leaks and published his own on-camera meltdown before anyone else could.
Somehow, we're not convinced.
