If you've never seen either of these films, you really are missing out on some high-grade cheese.

For one, Enter The Dragon was supposed to be the start of a wave of Asian-action films in the '70s that would have seen Bruce Lee catapulted into international super-stardom. Sadly, he passed too soon before his time.

Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat: The Movie was a film based on a game starring Highlander AKA Christopher Lambert. It's still hilarious, but for all the wrong reasons.

Anyway, YouTuber J. Matthew Turner has gone out and done some research and determined that they're basically the same film.

No, really. Take a look at this.

One or two similarities, sure, but the whole luggage thing with Johnny Cage / John Saxon is one odd. Plus, y'know, Goro and Bolo. We never got that either.

But what about Street Fighter with Jean-Claude Van Damme? Twenty quid says that's a shot-for-shot remake of Bridge On The River Kwai.
