After almost breaking the internet this week by announcing that she had Donald Trump's actual tax returns on her hands, Rachel Maddow sat down to talk about the scoop-and-let-down of the year with Jimmy Fallon and what it means going forward.

"I think the reason people were so excited is because it’s really weird that the president hasn’t released his financial information," she told him. "It’s really odd, and there’s reasons to worry about it."

People were disappointed with the reveal that Maddow only had two pages of a 2005 tax return that was all above board but according to Maddow, that's why we should be interested. And she understands why everyone's so thirsty for more info.
