The new adaptation of Stephen King’s It is one its way to becoming the highest grossing R-rated horror movie ever, soon to overtake even The Exorcist.
The film has given us a lot to be thankful for, being a great film as well as a great horror, and popularising the talented (and ridiculously good-looking) Bill Skarsgard.
Now, in an unsurprising turn of events, a clip from the movie has become a popular meme. It portrays the scene in which Pennywise the clown (Skarsgard) does a creepy song-and-dance routine for young heroine Beverly (Sophia Lillis).
The video has been re-edited with a number of popular songs, and we vote that Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ works best in the clip:
