Having people like John Oliver on the airwaves/internet and speaking sense makes getting through the day that bit easier.

Donald Trump's choice of words (or lack thereof) when commenting on the white supremacists rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, this past weekend rightfully angered many after he failed to call out the violence for what it was, and John Oliver, being unafraid to call people out for what they are, did his best to right that wrong at the top of 'Last Week Tonight' last night.

"This was a white-nationalist rally, you have to call that out by name," Oliver began. "There honestly aren’t many instances in modern American politics where you can honestly think, ‘That guy really should have mentioned the Nazis,’ but this is emphatically one of them. It’s like a reverse Godwin’s Law: If you fail to mention Nazism, you lose the argument."

There are few things to be thankful about all this at the moment, but having Oliver on TV is one of them.
