In a week that's seen an atrocity that would cast severe doubt over one's faith in humanity, it's great to have moments like this to fall back on and remind ourselves that there will always be good in this world.

When a man lost consciousness and fell on the tracks of the NYC Subway over the weekend, three men that were nearby didn't hesitate to risk their lives by jumping down on the tracks and race to help lift him back up onto the platform.

The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

As one witness put it: "The infrastructure in this city of millions is the people themselves providing, being there for others. Without even knowing the person, who he is, no matter what denomination he subscribes to. It was beautiful to see.”
