Although you might not have known it, Billy Crystal and Muhammad Ali were incredibly close friends.

As the world mourned the loss of Ali at his funeral on Friday, there was a huge number of incredibly well-known people turned out to honour the greatest athlete of our generation. One particular highlight, if you can call it that, was Billy Crystal.

In his fifteen-minute eulogy to the Champ, Crystal explained how they met for the first time back in the '70s when he was a comedian and how they formed an incredibly unique and long-lasting friendship through the years.

It's both touching, hilarious and it also reminds us that Billy Crystal needs to get his ass out of retirement and get back to work because the guy's just hilarious. Sure, he did that show The Comedians with Josh Gad, but that's been cancelled now after a single season.

Anyway, take a look.
