If ever you wondered why drones aren't usually allowed above a certain height, this is why.

This footage shows a drone flying well in excess of 400 feet from the ground, near an airport, and in the direct path of an airliner - all of which, on their own, is a big no-no. Put them together and there's a good chance the FAA is going to hear about it and have words to say.

The date of the incident isn't known, but it is known that it took place over McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
