Los Angeles is currently debating whether or not it will enact laws that will effectively ban house parties in the city, in response to constant noise complaints and the fact that promoters are charging entry to said house parties without proper clearances and the like.

The proposed ordinance, however, isn't without its opponents - one of which includes "house-party enthusiast" Chad Kroeger, who appeared before Los Angeles City Council this week to argue his case. How'd it go down?

On the day in question, not that well, but the video of Kroeger making his point has since gone viral, amassing over 300,000 views on YouTube and countless more on Twitter.

Take a look.

If you're thinking this is some kind of prank or comedy team, you'd be right. What's more, this isn't the first time that "Chad" has done something like this. In 2016, Kroeger argued in front of San Clemente City Council for a statue of Paul Walker.

Unsurprisingly, that petition was also rejected.
