Upon winning the US Presidential election, Donald Trump commented that he will have to become more restrained on social media now that he is preparing to enter the Oval Office.

If anything, it's been the opposite. Trump is tweeting more frequently and erratically to the point where every time he sends a new 160 character composition out into the world it generate another news story.

Bernie Sanders was on Conan last night and gave his two cents on the politically minded motivation behind some of the more controversial tweets that have come from the President-elect's account in the past few weeks.

"First of all it's delusional. It's totally insane." Sanders said in relation to Trump's claims of massive voter fraud, before reading it as "a message to Republicans across the country, Republican leaders. And what he's saying is that we have to suppress the vote. We have to make it harder for poor people, people of color, immigrants, elderly people, to participate, because they might be voting against us."

Sanders also went on to demand more from the media in their reporting of political issues, particularly those relating to the poor and the environment.
