Super Bowl ads can be hit and miss at the best of times, because let's face it - basically it's a bunch of famous people getting paid to turn up, so they're hardly going to put an award-winning performance in.

The new one for Amazon's Alexa device, however, is actually pretty good.

Basically, Alexa 'loses her voice' one day, leaving thousands of people with questions about the weather, the news and various other inane queries, but with no disembodied voice to answer them.

Amazon's solution? Enlist celebrities to fill in for Alexa - including Gordon Ramsay, Rebel Wilson, Anthony Hopkins and a gas Cardi B.
