As we reported earlier today, the Twitter account of Rose McGowan, an actress best-known for her work on TV series Charmed, was temporarily suspended as a result of violating Twitter’s rules.

McGowan shared the news of her suspension via Instagram. The actress had been vocal on Twitter in the past number of days about the sexual allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein as well as recent revelations on actor Ben Affleck.

While initially, there were no details offered on the specific ways in which McGowan had violated the rules, they did state that she can delete the tweets that violate its rules to gain access to her account more quickly.
