This is the stuff of nightmares, but dammit, it's hilarious in a so-glad-this-wasn't-me kind of way and the ultimate brain fart.

Evan Kaufman was a contestant on an episode of American game show called '$100,000 Pyramid' recently and made possibly the biggest faux pas of his life when he answered the question: "People whose last name is Obama".

Kaufman then had to give a clue to the celebrity contestant facing him, which was actor and 'Saturday Night Live' alum Tim Meadows.

And well, see for yourself.

The clip has since gone viral and Kaufman has taken to Twitter to explain his slip, describing it as "perhaps the most embarrassing moment of my life", and that what the clip doesn't show is that he quickly corrects himself.
