Back in 1996, Danny Boyle brought Irvine Welsh's novel, Trainspotting, to life in an era defining film starring Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner and Jonny Lee Miller.

The story of 80s drug culture Edinburgh is now coming to the stage in Dublin, with a week long run of shows in the Olympia Theatre next May. A live DJ will be playing before and after the show to set the scene and you can expect the same edgy and uncompromising Scottish humour that the film and novel are known for. In fact, before it was a hit movie, Trainspotting was a highly successful and controversial stage play.

The show runs from May 8th to 12th and tickets are available from ticketmaster.ie
