Ending a 45-year absence, the Liam MacCarthy Cup has returned to Limerick after a tight victory over Galway.
Limerick won 3-16 to Galway's 2-18, with Limerick winning with just a point in the difference between the two. Needless to say, the nail-biting finish was all there was to talk about Twitter, either that or Enda Kenny's beard.
