Model Elise Hewitt, 21, filed a $1 million civil lawsuit last week alleging the actor kicked, punched and threw her down a flight of stairs on July 4th this year.
She also accused Philippe of “repeatedly abusing a panoply of legal and illegal drugs, including without limitation: cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms, and steroids” and that he allegedly “increasingly combined these drugs with excessive alcohol consumption and often exhibited symptoms attendant of poly drug and alcohol abuse, including mood swings and bouts of anger.”
Philippe issued a statement to People magazine denying the allegations stating- “Domestic violence is an incredibly serious issue and fabricated and proven false claims should not be used to unjustly slander the falsely accused. The claims are false.”
Philippe, 43, (Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer) was previously married to Reese Witherspoon and the pair share custody of their two children. He also has a child with actress Alexis Knapp.
