Recycled orchestra actually rubbish.
But only literally. The documentary trailer below for Landfill Harmonic features the Paraguay Recycled Orchestra, literally recycled, as all the instruments are made from other peoples throwaways. Families in the town of Cateura make money from selling recycled materials, and live literally in and around a landfill site. Social worker and music teacher Favio Chavez saw an opportunity to turn the lives of the local children around in a unique way five years ago, and thus began the Paraguay Recycled Orchestra, which is not only a stroke of genius, but also a heartwarming story in this murky January.
Now for an actually rubbish orchestra, we present this.
