The boycott of Donald Trump's inauguration by big name stars has been broken.

According to TMZ, Michael Flatley and his 'Lord of the Dance' troupe have been booked to perform at the Liberty Ball on Friday night. The website's sources say that Trump's inauguration committee had been trying to book Flatley for a while, but only managed to confirm the appearance on Wednesday.

Chicago born Flatley has been known to be friendly with Trump in the past, with the President elect attending his shows on several occasions.

Flatley retired last year with his final performance coming in Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas on St. Patrick's Day. The 57 year old had been suffering from several longstanding injuries.

Whether or not he'll come out of retirement for this one off event remains to be seen but he's certainly expected to be there on the night to oversee the performance of his troupe. He is by far the biggest name to be announced for the event so far. Other acts include 3 Doors Down, Toby Keith, Jennifer Holliday, and Jon Voight.

It will be his first big public appearance since the death of his mother Eilish, who passed away at the end of December.
