In case you think we're making this up or anything, Met Eireann - the actual, official weather forecasting agency for Ireland - are calling it for snow later this week.

According to this week's weather outlook, there's a likelihood of snow on Thursday evening, with temperatures expected to fall to -2 degrees, with Friday morning expected to bring further snow and possibly some sleet. Friday night could also see temperatures fall to -3 degrees, with further snow predicted for Saturday week also.

Per Met Eireann, "it looks like rain will spread from the west on Saturday night and will turn to snow for a time as it meets the cold air."

That's right, folks. It's just gone the first week in December and we already have snow. What's the odds on a white Christmas?
