McDonald's Twitter account went off on Donald Trump, then hastily deletes
It really is a sign of just how much distaste and anger there is against Donald Trump that an actual fast-food restaurant has turned against him.
The official Twitter account for McDonald's Corporation tweeted out a message today, in which it called Donald Trump "a disgusting excuse of a President", and mentioned that he has tiny hands. The Twitter account tagged Trump and also stated it would love to have Barack Obama back as President.
The tweet was then pinned to the top of its timeline, but it was then quickly deleted - not before pretty much half of Twitter took a screenshot to preserve this precious moment in internet history.
It's not yet known if the account was hacked or if it was some Social Media Executive who went rogue and decided to go out in a blaze of glory, but when you've got fast-food restaurants getting angry and going political, there's definitely something wrong with the world.
McDonald's have yet to release a formal statement.
McDonald's have issued a tweet, saying their account was "compromised". Sure, Jan.
