We've all gotten dodgy socks and/or pants on Christmas morning, but imagine being the receiver of these on the big day.

Japanese brand Seiren has released a range of deodourant underwear, made to "combat unwanted odours". and although first intended for people requiring nursing care and in hospital, they've proved a big hit with the Japanese population at large, businessmen in particular. Which is slightly discomforting to know. Next time you see a big shot businessman walking down the street, just remember that he's probably letting rip on a regular basis.

The brand have now expanded into some 22 different items, including anti-smell socks and t-shirts that cover up stinky pits. No word yet if they're hitting our shores. Here's hoping they install them in pub bathroom vending machines, and do us all a favour.
