Electric Ireland, continuing their partnership with Pieta House, are launching The National Wake Up Call, urging Irish people to wake up to the critical issue of suicide and self-harm.

Rugby player Jack McGrath, broadcasters Nikki Hayes, Eoghan McDermott and Evanne Ní Chuilinn, and chef Derry Clarke are all taking part in the Wake Up Call. They participated in powerful photoshoot, and opened up about their own experiences with mental health, while encouraging people to sign up for Pieta House's Darkness Into Light fundraiser.

Darkness Into Light takes place on May 6th, in venues all across the country and the world. Over 100,000 people will take part in the annual event, walking 5km as the sun rises. If you haven't sign up yet, you can find a location near you and register on the Darkness into Light website.
