Well, this is definitely one for the books.
Senator Fidelma Healy Eames swung for the fences earlier today with this little tweet about Mother's Day and the upcoming Marriage Referendum.

The Senator from Galway, who is on the record about 'fraping' and other nefarious acts of social media, believes that Mother's Day will be a thing of the past when gay and lesbian couples are allowed to get married.
A quick glance at Google and Wikipedia informs us that she's basically talking out of her hoop.
No states in the US have banned Mother's Day, or indeed, Father's Day. We checked. You can too.
