If you've had enough of watching marathons of Most Haunted and would like to have a haunted home of you're own, then you're in luck. There's one up for grabs in Scotland.

Carbisdale Castle, a former stately home in Scotland that is thought to be haunted by a ghost named Betty is up for sale after a plan to turn it into a hotel was abandoned.

The 40 bedroom property is currently available from letting agent Savills for the relatively reasonable sum of £900,000 (€1.15m). It was previously on the market for £1.2m (€1.5m)

Its ghost, 'Betty' is well-known among people who have stayed at Carbisdale when it was a hostel. She is said to appear dressed in white in various parts of the property. There's no mention of her in any of the sales material.
