This is the kind of thing you'd expect in a romantic drama in the '90s, where Josh Hartnett or Freddie Prinze Jr. is the guy playing piano and Claire Danes is the woman he's trying to win back.

Luke Howard has begun playing a public piano in Bristol Park and said that he won't stop playing until he wins back his girlfriend of four months, whom he has called his 'Rapunzel'. Christ.

Speaking to the Bristol Post, Howard explained that the breakup "wasn’t anything nasty or bad, it was just life getting in the way. If it was anything bad why we split up then I wouldn’t be doing this, but it’s the only thing I can think of doing."

You could try moving on and leaving her alone, man. Howard went on, saying that his ex-girlfriend is "a very organised person, very practical and I’m just trying to show her I’m really serious about us. It’s a kind of off-the-cuff thing, and I just want her to know how much I love her, to give us a chance rather than leave it there. I’m not ready to throw in the towel just yet.”

Naturally enough, his exploits have reached the web - and nobody's falling for it.
