Gordon Ramsay weighed in on the 'pineapple on pizza' debate on Twitter and things got... weird
The pineapple on pizza debate is the Montague and Capulet style feud of 2017 and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere any time soon.
It all started with the Icelandic president and while we thought the argument was over for a while, it reared its ugly head again after Gordon Ramsay stepped into the ring.
Ramsay declared which side of the fence he stands on quite affirmatively, responding to a request to not "confine pizza to strict rules" with the following.
Pineapple does not go on top of pizza..... https://t.co/lhD6aliOV8— Gordon Ramsay (@GordonRamsay) April 4, 2017
What happened in his replies was quite something.

Sometimes the internet is just too weird, even for us.
