Electric Picnic goers be warned Mr Motivator will be at The Picnic. Remember him?
He has teamed up with Electric Ireland to host Dancergy, a dance-themed activity that will take place on a sustainable energy dance floor at the festival. Mr Motivator will lead daily dance sessions where festival goers will have the opportunity to take to the floor with the fitness legend, bust some dance moves in his trademark style and even contribute towards the energy requirements of the Electric Picnic. Nice some may say - at least he will be doing something good.
I can see us all now busting some Jamacian groves at EP. Bun bag at the ready I will be there!
Speaking at the launch, Mr Motivator said; “I’m so excited to be a part of Electric Ireland’s Dancergy at Electric Picnic. Dance is my absolute passion and how great to actually generate energy in the process. Festival goers be warned…..I don’t take no for an answer when it comes to busting some moves on the dance floor so I’ll be seeing you there!”
In addition, Electric Ireland is providing 6km of energy efficient festoon lighting around the camp sites and walk ways to the main arena, which has reduced the festival’s lighting emissions by 80%. Electric Ireland will also provide eCars to transport artists around the festival site this year, keeping sustainability at the heart of the Electric Picnic. Wonder would they give us a lift???
