Yes, the US President has now personally gotten involved with his daughter's fashion business - even though he said he was divesting himself completely of his family's business dealings.

Donald Trump took to Twitter today and slammed fashion retailers Nordstorm for dropping his daughter Ivanka's clothing line. Nordstrom explained last week that her clothing line was not selling well, and took the decision to drop it from their available stock. A spokesperson for Nordstorm told Business Insider that "based on the brand's performance we've decided not to buy it for this season."

Many ethics advisors and legal experts are saying that Trump's use of Twitter to target companies or brands that displease is not only frightening, but highly unethical. Norman Eisen, one of President Obama's chief ethics counsellors, told Associated Press that Trump's family "is using the White House like the Kardashians used reality TV, to build and vastly expand their overall business enterprises."

Meanwhile, a lawsuit by Melania Trump against the Daily Mail has claimed that her position as First Lady is a "unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity... to launch a broad-based commercial brand in multiple product categories, each of which could have garnered multimillion-dollar business relationships for a multi-year term during which plaintiff is one of the most photographed women in the world."

So, to recap, the US President and leader of the free world bitched on social media about a clothing store dumping his daughter's fashion line because they didn't sell well.

Yes, this is really, really happening.
