Irish manager Martin O'Neill and his assistant Roy Keane were rear ended between the Blanchardstown and Finglas junctions yesterday evening around 6pm. Neither were seriously injured. Seamus McDonagh Steve Walford, and Steve Guppy were in the car at the time.

Seemingly all involved in O'Neill's car are carrying on with their "normal training session today" according to Today FM's Paul Collins. It is, after all, a big week for all involved considering the crucial Scottish game which will dictate whether we make Euro 2016 or not...

According to the Daily Mail: "The management team were returning from a visit to Cobh after some down time between the England and Scotland internationals." Ugh, so it was after a long drive and everything.

Now, let's just take a moment to imagine the state of the poor fecker who rear ended them in rush hour traffic... There you are, just trying to get yerself home, and you plough into a car - which is bad enough - and then Roy Keane's head emerges...

In other news, John Giles was reportedly informed that his services were not required for the Scotland game over the weekend. RTE are claiming the 74-year-old's absence is due to "scheduling issues". Richard Sadlier will take his place.
