It seems like the fight between the UFC double champ and the retired boxing titan may well come to pass, as reports today suggest that they have agreed terms.

The Sun report that McGregor - who got his boxing licence in December - flew to Las Vegas yesterday for negotiations, and that the only hold-up on signing the contract is that they are waiting on a third party to sign off on the deal. So that basically means McGregor's contract with Dana White and The UFC.

McGregor was due to take part in a meet-and-greet event at the Red Cow Hotel this Friday, but it has been cancelled because of his trip to Vegas, as a statement on their Facebook revealed.

They also claim that the multi-million bout - which is reportedly set for Las Vegas and will see Mayweather come out of retirement - could be announced within the next two weeks.
