Comedian Charlie Murphy has died, aged 57. Tributes pour in on Twitter.
Comedian Charlie Murphy has passed away. The 57 year old died in New York from lukemia.
The older brother of Eddie Murphy, Charlie was a stand up and performer in his own right. He became a household name thanks to his appearances on The Dave Chappelle Show in which his amazing stories of interactions with other celebrities during the height of his brother's fame in the 1980s became a highlight of the Comedy Central series.
Charlie also collaborated with his brother on the big screen, contributing to projects such as Norbert and Vampire in Brooklyn.
His twitter account sent out a final tweet on Tuesday morning.
