Not content with just having President of the United States on his CV, Bill Clinton has decided that he wants to try his hand at being a novelist.

He's going to have some pretty well known help with it though, best selling author James Patterson.

According to The New York Times, Clinton and Patterson, who share the same agent, are working together on 'The President is Missing', a thriller due to be released in June 2018.

Patterson is known for employing a stable of lesser known writers to work with on his novels, thus ensuring his prolific output. Just who will be doing the heavy lifting in this collaboration though remains to be seen. We imagine Clinton will be a big help in the authenticity side of things what with him once having been the actual President of the United States.

In a statement about the book's announcement, Clinton said that working on the story has been "a lot of fun."

“Working on a book about a sitting president — drawing on what I know about the job, life in the White House and the way Washington works — has been a lot of fun,” he said.
