“We need a reboot of The Amanda Show,” said No-One Ever.

We totally understand if some of you had forgotten about Amanda Bynes. The former child star, actress and comedian took a hiatus from the entertainment industry in 2010 to go back to college. But in a recent statement through her lawyer to Page Six she said she had plans to return to acting in 2018-

“Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year. In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback,” the statement read.

In the late 90’s and early 2000’s Bynes had carved out a hugely successful career with small screen successes like All That and The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon. On the big screen she starred in movies like She’s The Man, What A Girl Wants and alongside John Travolta in 2007’s Hairspray.

However, her time away from Hollywood was fraught with legal issues including a driving under the influence arrest in 2012.
